Description

The KSfarms Rolling Basket Kit turns your disk into a one-pass pre-plant tool by smoothing, leveling, and firming the soil behind your tillage pass. These baskets are designed to break up clods and smooth soil surface when you need it, leave a consistent seedbed, and operate cleanly in a wide range of conditions. We've found that a disk moves and maintains the soil more so than a vertical tillage machine. Healing little washouts, sprayer tracks, new terraces, etc. VT's will chop stalks finer than a disk which isn't always good either. Leaving trash piled in terraces, grader ditches, and anywhere it may blow. We run them behind a JD 630 disk on our own fields and consistently prefer the results over any vertical-tillage machines—at a much lower cost.

With active hydraulics, you can apply adjustable down-pressure or run in float for lighter finishing. Hydraulic cylinders allow the baskets to lift fully out of the way when not needed.

This kit includes everything required for a rolling basket attachment. However we do not supply hydraulic hoses or fittings. This is a universal kit. It will work on anything as long as you have square tubing on the rear of you implement to ubolt to. Sometimes its necessary to add frame work. At time of order, we will take your measurements and build to length. You can also purchase individual components to build your own custom setup.
